Press Credentials descibes the recognition that an individual or news organization is a journalist. Nonprofit, nontraditional and online journalists and organizations confront greater barriers than their capitalist, traditional and brick and boring counterparts. There is no level playing field; there is no marketplace for ideas. Instead there is a game rigged in favor of the status quo.
