Iran Nexter refers to American foreign policy makers and analysts who want to target Iran for regime change next. Afghanistan and Iraq were not "success" enough. An example of its use comes from Lisa Hajjar's news report that Hosni Mubarak chose Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman as his first Vice President and possible successor because he "would command an instant lobby of supporters at Langley and among 'Iran nexters' in Washington."
