Florida
Talk0this wiki
Florida is a Southeastern state whose political culture is one part Southern, one part Eastern Seaboard and one part Latin American. The fourth most populous state is governed by an overwhelming Republican state government that has repeatedly demonstrated incompetence in conducting elections. Rather than take the electoral administration debacles that began in 2000 seriously, the state GOP actually made it worse by attempting to suppress the vote of likely Democratic voters. Absurdly long lines again in the 2012 general election has given the Florida Democratic Party an opportunity to exploit the issue.
