The Kingdom of Denmark is a Scandinavian liberal democracy consisting of the country of Denmark in northern Europe and two autonomous constituent countries, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The kingdom is a unitary state with some authority devolved from Denmark proper to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
According to the Living Planet Report 2012 Denmark is one of the ten countries with the highest Ecological Footprints.
