When it comes to pregnancy prevention, he favors abstinence-only education. Reichert believes he has an answer for unwanted children. His family adopted, and his daughter continued the tradition.
- October 5 2004: In a debate against Democratic candidate Dave Ross, he declared his position “I’m pro-life.” He also stated that “No federal funding should be spent on sex education ever. Period.”
